I've been using a green one with the black plastic fittings without any problem the last 7 months. I have seen the better ones with brass fittings lately. I'll get one of those when my current one fails. I only use it to flush the black tank and other general purposes and I do not leave it outside.

Mine is also the green with black plastic fittings. I used it all last summer, dragging it up on the roof and around the rig while washing it. Shut it off at the pedestal, then the nozzle without a problem. Stores in a small tote box.

I got one of the plastic versions for Christmas. Going to take it back for the metal fittings style. I like your idea Dave, about having it dedicated to cleaning out the black tank.
