Shower Water Temperture

I use the elect. Water heater mode when we are tailgating and using generators, after wife takes shower, i turn off the elect. Water heater as i walk by it, and then take my shower. Always hot water in the tank for me to shower.

Our 2011 Rushmore has the opposite problem. The water is momentarily hotter when I release the cutoff valve at the shower head.

Its all about the least resistance to flow. Most trailers use a spring Check on the hot water tank for winterizing. I have remove some on friends trailers with success and installed shut off valves instead, they have to be shut off manualy to winterize the unit.

The remedy would be to put 2 equal valves on the hot water and cold water lines but who can guarranty the springs will have same holding pressure. So the shut oiff seam to be the logical choice to me.
