Can anyone tell me what the switch does that's in the compartment where all water and cable connections are.

Hi donhutch1800,

If you're talking about the Universal Docking Center (UDC) on a relatively new 5th wheel, it's probably a 2nd switch to operate the water pump. Comes in handy when winterizing or using the outside hose/shower.

The switch is on a landmark San Antonio
