2011 Heartland Edge TT M18.fridge is a Dometic RM8551.Very nice large fridge.Probably won't use it very much on 12volt but nice to have.all electronic controls,removeable freezer section to make it into a large all fridge option.Not a bar fridge size on the floor.

I am going out to the storage site today with a multimeter.The fridge is a 3 way fridge and has a 12 volt setting and a 12 volt heater element I presume so that could account for the 20 amp. fuse??Maybe the fused 12 volt circuit is only for the 12 volt element and the electronics is on another...

I have a WFC 8955PEC converter in a new to me 2011 Edge M18 that has a neon light on all the time for the fridge circuit.I have changed the 20 amp. fuse and it still comes on.The fuse appears good ,what puzzles me is the fridge control panel and interior fridge lights all work with the neon fuse...

Simply extend it to where you can reach it,leave original valve open,new one closed.

Are they the correct application?How do they recover from deep discharge cycles,what is the duty cycle,ampacity compared to 6 volts golf cart type batteries,is the built in charger capable of correct charging cycles versus a wet cell.

Check the build date of the 7 year old tires,bet you get a real surprise.Replace them all.

I find it very disturbing that the dealer being prompt,up front and honest is questioned.I think the dealer had a reason not to go ahead with the deal and I doubt very much that it was a poor service department,you don't survive that many years by doing bad business.
