Over passes are tricky in Winter, most times OK, but every once in awhile --- SLIPPERY !!!

If you are a Commercial Driver delivering a TT, 5th wheel, Motorhome, ETC. generally to a Dealership from the Factory you are required to Go Through the Weight Station. For Personal Use Not Necessary.

Personally I would " Buck Up " and take to good repair shop and have in gone over front to back, top to bottom. Not fun to break down on road when traveling long distance. Also expensive for wrecker and repair shop may not be as good as you would like. Something like a complete DOT Inspection...

I lube mine with Wheel Bearing Grease and cover with Rubber Cap when not in use.
