That's my feeling as well. My 2014 Dodge has a 32 gallon tank, but when I start getting below 1/2 tank when towing, I start getting uncomfortable. I am thinking that the Transfer Flow 50 gallon under the tonneau cover tank is the best way to go for me. That would give me 82 gallons and about 800...
Wow! That is a lot of upgrades! I'd say the LM 365 is well worth whatever it costs above the BigHorn especially if you are a full timer!
Good job Tom!!

Re: New 365 Landmark Floor Plan -- Charleston
I like it. Just have a couple of questions........Do all the Charlestons come with the outside kitchen? I would not want that. I can get a dishwasher in it right?
Joe
Anyone know what brand/model of dishwasher Heartland uses in the new Landmark 365 RV's? I asked in the Appliances forum and have had 105 views to this point but no responses. I am not a current Heartland owner so could not post in the Ask the Factory forum.

What brand/model of dishwasher comes on the new Landmark 365 models? Is it a Fisher Paykel? or some other brand? Just wondering as I do research for my next fifth wheel.

I like this model the best of the new three plans. We will be looking for a new rig in the next couple of years and this plan might just the be bees knees!!

I've been pretty much a lurker here for the past couple of years. The wife and I are pretty sure we are going to be trading RV's in the next couple of months. We are kind of stuck though. We like both the Rushmore and the Key Largo models. We, however, have been unable to see either in person...
We use our conventional RV oven only for storage. Baking and broiling are done in our table top convection oven. I would prefer to have a couple of nice storage shelves or drawers instead of the usual oven.

Please send me the Garmin POI file of overnight dry camping spots on the Alaska Highway. We are planning a 2012 trip to Alaska, and this would definitely be appreciated and much needed.

That is the main reason I bought a new truck......so I could get the built in exhaust brake. My new 08 Dodge 5500 with CM hauler bed and an EZ Floater air ride hitch is a great combo for towing my 39 ft fifth wheel. I'm ready to test the mountains, but not until late spring or summer though.

We spent the summer workamping at Adventureland Amusement Park outside Des Moines, Iowa. 32 hours a week max. Pay for all hour worked at $7 per. Site costs $100 total for the nearly 6 months we were there. Great place to work, great people to work for and with.

Ummm..........Heartland did say to bring the trailer back to them and they would fix it, right? Sounds like they are trying to do the right thing, especially for a trailer that is out of warranty.
Joe
We had a Bighorn pulling a golf cart trailer pull in here at Adventureland Campground in Altoona, IA for a couple of days. I didn't get a chance to meet the people.

Rmcgrath53,
That's the main reason I'm switching to a Dodge 4500 or 5500 from my Ford F350. Lots of people think that the tow/haul is all you need to keep your speed under control coming down a mountain. My one trip down Slumgullion Pass into Lake City, Colorado a couple of years ago towing my...
Our Maggie is our constant traveling companion. She has been in a multitude of states and parks. We don't travel without her. Debbie has been trying to get me to go on a cruise, but I really don't want to leave Maggie for even a week. It is truly amazing how our dogs become our best friends. :)

Where are the picts of the fridge installed? :)
I don't know about that light that comes on when it is dark. Is it at full brightness? Wouldn't that mean changing the batteries frequently?
Joe
I wonder when Trailair will include this info on their website. I WANT this system too. I'd love to know a ballpark figure as to what it cost to purchase and get it installed. PM me if you wish.
Thanks,
Joe
