The switch for my ceiling lights won't go on or off. It's like it's frozen solid. I tried to take the switch out to replace it but can't seem to get it to come out. Is there some magic trick to it? It's on my main panel.
danemayer...I have a satellite input jack on the wall in the living room. That I can bring to the tv. Will this work? In other words why would I need a splitter?
Thanks everyone for your input. I also saw on another post that you can actually hook up outside to the satellite connection and get cable also. I never had any problems when I was connected to my dish satellite for TV. Is this true also?
Thanks danemayer. That's what I thought too. I get some TV but it coming up saying Failed to receive broadcast. Could it be the connections outside are bad?
The campground has free cable tv. When I connect the outside wiring to the campground cable connection and the other end to the cable hookup on the Cyclone when doing my setup on the TV do I select air or cable. I have a Sharp TV. Also, does the red light in the bedroom need to be on or...
Do ya'll re-dicor the EPDM roof on your Cyclones every year? This get's a little expensive. I had mine done by Camping World in October of 2012. Do I need to do it again this year?
I currently have a leak around the drain on one of the sinks in the kitchen. I think it's leaking around the rubber or putty. What do I use to try and replace the putty or rubber? The same thing as in a regular house sink?
I'm still having issues with removing the cover on the LED Lights. I've tried everything. It seems the spring is stronger than I thought and I really don't want to break anything. Any other suggestions?
Does anyone know how to replace the bulbs in the ceiling lights that are covered with a cloudy glass cover? I have one that went out but can't figure out how to replace it?
TIA
I had about 200 miles on my towmax tires before leaving San Antonio in July and had a blowout approximately 1200 miles into my trip north to Pennsylvania. I had all six replaced with Maxxis in Emporia, VA after sitting on the highway for better that 2 hours waiting for a tow truck to assist in...
Hi Folks,'t
Well I am constantly finding a damp/wet floor area in the front storage compartment tool box area of my 2011 3950 HD. Any ideas? I let it dry out two days ago and now it's wet again. It has been in the high 20's here in Lumberton, NC the last couple of nights. I don't see any...
It's one of the old thermostats that you put it on a number (70) and then it kicks on. How hard is it to change it out to digital. Can I do this myself or will I have to have someone install it for me? I am kind of mechanically challenged.
It's been a little chilly at night here in Lumberton, NC and we tried setting the thermostat to 55 and 65 but the furnace doesn't seem to want to come on until we bump it up to 70. Now I know it's not 70 in the camper.....We have a 2011 Cyclone 3950. Don't want to keep it at 70 during the...
Hi again folks,
We are full timing it and headed to Lumberton, NC for the winter. The plates on my truck and motorcycle are going to expire at the end of October and we don't plan on being back in Texas any time soon. Wondering if I need to register my vehicle in NC and then get it inspected...
John, Thanks I was talking about the Chesapeake Bay Bridge near Annapolis.....We did find this KOA and will be stopping there overnight. Our Cyclone 3950 is currently at Camping World being repaired from a blowout we had back in July on our way to NJ. We will leave the KOA and be stopping at...
I have been here 2 days and have had at least 2 "Inferno Owners" ask for a tour. They really like the separated bunks in the living area for their older boys/girls. I have told them all about the quality of Heartland RV's and the Customer Service (even after the warranty) sometimes. Love...
I was trying to open one of the drawers yesterday on the one side of the circular couch and found that the couch section moved. Is it supposed to move? This is a really great thing if it is supposed to move since it is in a "L" shape and you can put it next to a wall and put your grandchild (1...
Thanks Miller0758 will check them both out. It really made me sick when I saw the damage. This is our first trip of any distance and to have the new rig damaged was really frustrating. Thank you too jmgratz. We really miss Texas, it seems hotter here than it was when we left San Antonio...
Well got my claim number from insurance company and now need to find a repair shop to fix the damage from the blowout in Virginia. We are currently staying at Old Mill Stream Campground in Lancaster, PA. Moving to Timberland Lake Campground in Jackson, NJ next Friday. Wondering if anyone is...
Re: Maxiis
Thanks TravelTiger. I am going to call the tire shop tomorrow and change the order to Maxxis. I would rather spend another day here than to worry about the Marathon's or the TowMax tires. We left San Antonio three and a half weeks ago headed to Pennsylvania. I retired on 31 May...
Will the Maxii tires fit my standard rims on the 2011 Cyclone 3950 HD? I have ordered the Goodyear Marathons at a local tire shop but if I can change to the Maxiis I will. I should have read about the Marathons before ordering. I just want to get rid of the Towmax Power Kings. I don't trust...
The guy who replaced the tire did not have an idea of what caused the blowout. The tire pressure is checked everyday especially after they cool down. I also check the tires on the TV. It looks like the tire threw all of the tread. I don't travel over 60 mph. Also, this Cyclone has only been...
We were traveling from Dillon, SC to Emporia, VA (Jellystone Park) and the right rear tire blew on the Cyclone. These things only have about 1800 miles on them. We have been traveling for three weeks from San Antonio. Going about 4 hours a day and then stopping. We were only 16 miles from...
Okay guys or gals where do you connect your break away cable inside the truck bed? I had mine disconnect twice today and stopped traffic both times for about five minutes until I got it reconnected. Very embarrassing and frustrating for the DW. TIA for any assistance. I have the 25k Reese...
I just saw last evening in the Camping World Flyer that if you buy the ERS (Emergency Road Service) you can get lifetime membership to Good Sam for $199.00....We have been members for about 5 years now and when we had our SOB we had to use the ERS twice. It sure leaves a lot less stress in your...
Thanks Rodbuster, I have tried everything I have in the tool box to no avail. I was wondering if someone else with a triple axle cyclone might know the right size. The guy who replaced my tire last May had to buy an additional socket because he didn't have anything large enough. He said he...
On this Memorial Day Weekend I would like to take this opportunity to THANK ALL OF OUR MILITARY for the dedication and bravery they show everyday. I would also like to THANK ALL OF THOSE WHO HAVE SERVED previously for their service also. I spent 22 years in the Air Force and I know the...
I spoke with the General Manager of the dealership yesterday and he stated that nothing would be posted to cause the value of the truck to go down since it happened on their lot. Also, the porter hit another customers car and it looks terrible. Don't know why someone would be driving a big...
I can't find anywhere in the owners guide what size lugs are on the wheels of this unit. I know I had a mobile RV repairman come and change out a tire once and he had to go and buy a new deep well socket. I just can't remember what size it was. I need this so I can check the torque of the...
Well I guess someone out there really doesn't want me to retire. I took my truck in yesterday at 9:00 AM because after getting the 12B33 Recall completed my transmission was jerking in 3rd and 5th gear. At the same time I wanted a oil change, lube, DEF, and filter done. Well I called at 2:00...
Re: Not A Happy Customer
Actually, Heartland is stepping up to the plate and will pay half the cost of the re-paint. I can't say enough about Ian at customer service. He has been great. The individual who will actually remove the decals, paint and replace the decals is a body and paint shop.
Well I just received a response from Customer Service and they are only willing to pay half for the re-paint of my front cap on my 2011 Cyclone 3950 HD. It seems the vendor who did the initial paint job had some bad clear coat or something and the top 1/4 of my cap is oxidized real bad. I...
