A question on the main dining slide. Is it suppose to be level with the floor? Second question is these small square tubes welded on top of the end of the floor rafter extension. Do they belong?

FYI looking at picture and seeing spare tire carrier check thumb knob and make sure it unscrews as mine and others on site was seized to point of being unable to lower spare tire with out some major demolition.

Our dining slide has those tubes - not quite clear what they do. When the slide goes out, at the end of travel, it drops down to where it's approximately flush with the main floor - but the slide carpet sits on top of the main floor.
