Does this park have fire rings that use wood or do we bring our propane fire Rings?
If memory serves me correctly, propane fire rings. We used ours last fall and I don't recall seeing any wood fire pits.

We've stopped taking firewood with us anymore as it seems that most campgrounds and RV parks either don't allow fires or they don't allow you to bring your own firewood in.

I follow the Ruidoso news, and from what I can recall the area has been under drought conditions the past few years, and wildfires are a real danger. There's probably a good reason there are no fire rings.

Perfect. If you're going to bring this desert lady to the cold mountains then I need to be prepared with some heat! And not just the kind out of a bottle- just saying!

Uhhh Ohhhhhhh . . . fire ring competition!

Awe...you all are so kind! We will have ours also and if anything like the havasu rally, they all got used. We ended up with 5 or 6 in a big circle with a lot of people sharing the heat. And if I remember correctly (and I do😬) Jim Beletti got the perfect seat by sitting in the middle of the ring!! Looking forward to seeing everyone in a little over a week!

I carry a fire pit as well and contribute it to the mega-ring-of-pits. If I can't sit in the middle of the mega ring of pits, I'll just sit on my pit :)

If it gets cool at night, where would be a better place to sip in the evenings than in Margaritaville. JMO Just hope it isn't too windy to set everything up. BTW, 2 fire rings.I think we need to combine our gear.lol

Look forward to seeing you guys again along with everyone else. Won't be long now.

We have access to the party room all week! No fire pits allowed in the room, but there won't be any wind in there.

Nothing beats sipping in the great outdoors. After a couple of Rums, the wind will start to die down. I have an artic parka for myself. I'm worried more about the Flamingos.

The Texas invasion will arrive together, approx. 7 rigs strong the afternoon of Monday the 1st. The City of Ruidoso might want to consider providing us a motorcycle escort through downtown stop lights in order to control traffic.

My Flamingos have decided to wear their Christmas foliage in order to stay warm and they tell me they may even invite their friend Santa Pig to come along too. This is going to be a hoot, looking forward to it.

At our last rally, Ted required everyone to have a valid Texas drivers license to enter his circus tent. Being in N Mex., it should be easy to get a fake ID.lol
7? Lets see. LG,C.E&S,T&D,P&E,D&K, uh, that's 6. Who am I missing?

Lil Guy, you guys carry fire pits and all this neat stuff. We carry copiers, printers and laminators and for a dollar a dozen, being we live in NM we can do any ID's you may need. We can even do your flamingos if you hold them still. How do you think we pay for this Landmark anyway???? Hahahaha......
