We were at a campground in Naples, Maine when the hurricane hit yesterday afternoon and made it through without any damage but was close call. About 1:00 pm when the wind gusts were getting really strong and twigs were falling on the roof frequently, I got feeling uneasy about the site we were in so hurried up and moved up the hill 3 sites to a site that was more open than went up to shelter. Later went back to trailer and a tree had went down that would have hit back of trailer. The people in site across from there said it went down 10 minutes after we moved. The electricity was off all night and still off by noon today so we moved on up the road to Bangor area.
