Thank you for the well wishes. We will keep on RVing in our Bighorn. We have boated for close to 40 years and that is taking up more time in the past years and plans of great voyages are taking place. we have enjoyed meeting lots of Heartland owners and will still keep meeting more in our future...

Jim We have been to 2 of the rally's and stayed on site. Yes a little expensive, but you can get back to your unit anytime you need a nap or lunch. We were drycamped with no problems at all. Yes it was "warm" but now unbearable. We won't be there this year though.

Dean and Jodi really hope that you can make it. We travel to Seaside every year and at 55-60 mph it takes us about 10 hours to Vancouver. From Vancouver to Merritt is about 5 hours at that speed

we were there last year. All seemed to be Ok. Fewer vendors, I think because of the "market" Get to the RV show before it opens, maybe 30 minutes or so. You will then have no parking problems or traffic problems. Do no park on the road to the south of the RV show. It is posted no parking, but...

I put in a second jack this spring. Cost $300 plus shipping from Lippert. It replaces the door side jack, now I can control either jack separately. I think it was well worth the cost. Install was not difficult. it took about 2 hrs for the job.

only my opinion.... the dealer pushes smoething for big profit. $10 product, minimum wage to apply for 1 hr. and charge $500 for the option. I wax my rig once a year and that way I get to inspect the whole rig myself and fix anything I suspect needs attention

bathroom and shower look great. But with the fridge at the door where would I put my coats ans shoes?

I had sort of the same problem. Sometimes the jacks needed help to start jacking the 5th up. The fix was only $300 away. Bought a 2nd jack for the other side, now I have no problems

usually drive 8 hrs a day at the most. We stop once an hour for a pee break. Stop at quilt shops, the odd wally world and of course Ham Radiostores. Don't really care how many miles per day. Smell the flowers when possible

extended warranties make the dealers lots of money. Check out good sam extended warranties. You can fix just about anything on the 5th wheels or trailers. All it will cost you is the parts and a little time.

Jim, one thing esle to look at on tires. Look at the tread, if it is not flat across and the tread looks bowed or rounded, the tire could be delaminating. Just had that with one of my Mission tires after 15000+ miles. All new Marathons now

Just replaced my original Mission tires. There was about 15--- miles on them. Replaced them with Goodyear Marathons. The G614 are not available in Canada. Took off all 4 tires and noticed one tire looked much different on the tread. It was delaminating!! Really ducked a blowout there. Still lots...

I have one, used it the first year and have not used it since. This winter put on air pressure sensors that measure temperature on the tires. Air pressure is more important!

East of Bakersfield Ca. on Highway 58 is the Orange Grove RV Park. About 8 miles east of Bakersfield. We have stayed there overnight for a number of years as we pass through. Did not stay there this year though, but it was a nice park

I have about 17000 miles on my Mission tiers. So far so good. I will be changing then this fall, as the years are mounting up. (close to 5 years old)
