We just got back from Destin. Stayed at Topsail State Park and RV resort. Excellent facilities. On Santa Rosa Beach 10 minutes from Destin.

Topsail is a real nice park. It's clean has large shady sites. We prefer beach access and stay at Camping on the Gulf a few miles west on 98. It's a bit pricey compared to some. This year will be our 14th year staying on a beach front site. There are only 15 beach front and we reserve ours a year in advance. The rest of the park has palm trees for shade and they have 2 pools. We go in Sept after the rates drop. Drive through and see what you think.

We spent 3 Weeks at Henderson State Park
One of the best places we have ever stayed. Well maintained, clean , clean , clean.
Nice walk on the boardwalk to the beach , will defiantly go back.
we had to reserve out a year also.

This summer we are putting Rhode Island and Connecticut on our map. We know very little about this area. Any suggestions on place to stay and things to do would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance, Bette and Lou
