Just bought a 2014 road warrior 5th 415. The water is warm but not hot. You can have a shower without turning on the cold water and it still isnt hot just warm. Is this normal?

2 things to check. First, make sure the knobs on the outside shower are fully off. Second, make sure the water heater bypass valve (for winterizing), is fully in the normal operation position.

According to info on the Keystone RV owners forum, the Suburban RV water heater thermostat should be set for 130 degrees, and is non-adjustable. It comes wired in series with a 180 degree secondary protection thermostat. There are 2 sets of thermostats on the Suburban RV water heaters, 1 set for 120 volts AC electric power and 1 set for 12 volt DC control of propane gas heating of the water.

BTW, are your cool water temperatures happening with both 120 volts AC power on the water heater and propane gas operation of the water heater?

These thermostats are pretty easy to replace under the black rubber cover on the outside section of the water heater.

The hot water heater in ours is an atwood

It seems like I remember something about Atwood selling adjustable thermostats.
I found this with a Google search, sold on Amazon. It has the Atwood name on it, and looks like a mfr retrofit of the original fixed water temperature thermostat.
