Humming noise from frig

Have a Norcold N811FLT frig and it has this humming noise while it's running on shore or LP. What's causing this to happen??

If your frig came with cooling fans on the rear fins, that may be what you are hearing.
Take the outside vent covers off and look up in there.
You will be looking for a 3-5" computer fan or two.

Ours did that the other day - when it was hot out and we didn't have much in the frig. Plus, I had left the door open too long - we had just started loading it for a trip, so the inside had warmed up quite a bit.
Once the temp inside got back in range, it quieted down.

Yes.....that's what happen with mine. Once it came up to temp, it stop doing that. I just couldn't remember it doing that before.
