Water Pump & Shower

When using only the water pump in the shower, every time it cycles you get a shot of cool water followed by warm water. Since it cycles every few seconds it is a constant cool to warm shower. Has anyone found a solution? We had a motorhome for 8 years and never had this problem.

Put an accumalator tank on the system it will help keep the pressure the same all the time. I had to do that on one of my travel trailers and have used it ever since.

My inital guess is a bubble in the hot water tank. Here's why, when the pump cycles on, there is an immediate increase in pressure. A bubble in the water heater would absorb the shock whereas the cold would just pass the increase pressure down the pipe. Once the pressure has equalized, the hot catches up with the cold putting the shower temp back to its original setting.
