I usually use the air compressor to flush out the black tank rinse on our trailer. I forgot to do it this year and wonder if it is necessary to do this as the trip out to the trailer is about 100 kms. Has anybody ever had an issue with not doing anything with this line in the winter.

You probably don't need the shocks anyway. Lots of people have just quit using them because they are at a ridiculous angle and ineffective.
