I usually use the air compressor to flush out the black tank rinse on our trailer. I forgot to do it this year and wonder if it is necessary to do this as the trip out to the trailer is about 100 kms. Has anybody ever had an issue with not doing anything with this line in the winter.
Thanks for the reply Rick. Yes the main circuit breaker also tripped so both it and the GFCI were tripped. All outlets on the circuit were off and the circuit breaker was off until I attached the wire properly. This is when I got the buzz. (I think I am going to go through every outlet and put...
During the night I heard the circuit breaker close and the night light in bathroom go out. The night light was plugged into the GFCI and had tripped that plugs circuit breaker several times. So this time when the main breaker went off it also cut off power to all the plugs in the kitchen...
I am finally getting around to replacing the lino in the kitchen of our Landmark Augusta. In order to install the "Allure" flooring I was thinking I would jack up the slide to finish off near the outside edge. Has anyone done this, how did you jack the slide up, any problems or...
ATF: Landmark - Is my #2 grey tank mounted backwards?
I have had a nagging leak at the back of the trailer under the kitchen. It got really bad and the gauge didn't even move!. So I cut the bottom open and promptly got soaked by a rush of water and wet insulation. The water had migrated over...
Well if anyone needs to know, today I found out where the #2 (kitchen) grey tank is. It is just behind the axles! What a job to get at it but I did. What happened, the drain pipe had no slope to it and just enough water got trapped in the cross over drain pipe that it froze and caused a...
I have an 09 Landmark Augusta that has sprung a seriously big leak in the grey tank (#2) that is located under the kitchen floor. It seems to be right above the axles but I need to confirm this as I want to cut the underbelly and see if I can fix it. I know this is the tank that is leaking...
I have had brand name tires with what looks slightly raised bulges on the sidewall and was told that is nothing to worry about. Ran them for years and it was never an issue. Not having seen your tires I am not sure that we are talking about the same thing. My bulges were about 5 cm sq and...
I purchased a bunch of Pro-flex to do my trailer. I found it to be very gooey, (as previously mentioned) and hard to control smears etc. I returned the rest of the product!
I totally disagree with your statement. I was a police officer in Alberta for a very long time and as well I have lived in other parts of Canada and traveled a lot. Gun laws in Canada are federal and the same from coast to coast. Alberta is not the wild west as you infer. Gun crime is a...
I have to replace the kitchen faucet in our 08 Augusta and I need the distance between the holes. Unfortunately the trailer is not close by and I won't be there for a while. I want to buy a new faucet here but want to get the right one. Does anyone know the distance between the taps?
Thanks.
Went out to the trailer 3 days ago and found one of the overhead cabinet doors was falling apart. I am wondering what kind of glue people are using to repair this. I have the bar clamps at home to use however I would rather not take the door off so I may use a strap clamp or something like...
