    DirecTV Trav'ler Satellite Installations

I have the Winegard Travl'r DirecTV and roof obstructions are not a concern. Proper installation will take care of that. I am quite pleased with my Genie and 3 Mini Boxes and the multi-station DVR. For me, it is a matter of convenience and one-button power-up and satellite-location...

Firearms traveling to Alaska via Canada

Exactly. And it IS possible to get a carry permit for a handgun as long as the barrel us a certain length or longer. "Handguns with at least 4-inch barrels are considered "restricted" firearms and are allowed in Canada, but require the completion an approval of an Application for an...

    Medical Needs

Check with your insurance carrier to see where you can find in-network physicians. Any ER care is almost always in-network. I have Humana Advantage for my Medicare and all my prescriptions are 90-day mail order that I manage and renew online. I use the current mailing address or next address...

RESOLVED: 50 amp breakers tripping and warm

Re: 50 amp breakers The breaker should NOT be hot! Are you at home or at a campsite? Either way, the most common cause of a hot breaker is loose screws (we all have a few) on the 2 wires on a 50amp double-pole breaker. That is where I would start.

    Over capacity with 3500 srw

That was our Senior High School play. I have always lived it, conservatively, but I am not sure there will be anything left to "leave" behind. LOL I am trying to time it so the last penny goes when they pull the plug. Sounds like a great purchase. :o

    legend tv

I just saw the inverter board on eBay for $25. But if it is a 32" Legend, a new one is probably $300 or less. Personally, I would fix it once, then go for a new one if it happened again. My rig came with 2 32" Legends and a 55" other brand (can;t remember" - my bedroom 32" was replaced after...

OK - it is most likely out of warranty. It could be the inverter board that runs the back-lite. There is a master and a slave. One one of those boards, usually they are on the right and left sides if you take the back cover off (unplug electric cord first) will have a chip in the middle that...

Bathroom fixtures - Towel argument with husband

I, too, use the "over-the-shower-door" hanger/hooks. For the paper, I have a decorative bowl brush and holder that sits next to the throne. It looks similar to the attached pic. I just slide a roll of paper on it and it works fine.

Cyclone - Water Heater Prob Fixed

Re: ATF: Cyclone - Water Heater The Atwood that came with my 4100 seems to always be plenty how, with shower hot water right at 125° - Atwood will tell you that changing out to a higher rated thermostat will void your warranty (hear that a lot these days) - but I am never hurting for a hot shower.

    Hydraulic leveling on cross slope.

Having posted what I did, I will add the following. When I first got my rig 2 years ago, I called Lippert and was told NOT to use the Level-up to raise the wheels off the ground. One of the "regulars" on here, who I trust very much, says it is ok. I have read somewhere on this Forum and...
