Re: Refrigerator outlet in kitchen slide has no power.
That happened to mine. There were crimps on the wire. Apparently too much pressure installing the crimp weakening the strands of wire. This caused corrosion in addition vibration the wire broke right at the sleeve on the crimp. Soldered...
Re: Need help with generator not providing power to all circuits
tighten all your wiring connections in your breaker box. Check at breaker, check all neutrals on buss and all grounds on buss. WITH POWER OFF. Just had a few circuits out on mine and discovered numerous loose connections in the...
Glad Heartland maybe on the verge of realizing that a real problem exists and it's not just a few isolated cases. Hope no one suffers injuries or loss of life while they are making up their minds.
Yea on your Cyclone purchase. We have enjoyed ours tremendously. It always turns heads and we get lots of questions.
Now having said that I will be brief- keep a close watch on your tires especially if they are Tow Max. Be prepared for a failure. Have a back up plan. Mostly read on this...
What is the pattern of the water spray in a built in tank flush. Is there an internal tank header that encircles the tank with numerous outlets or does it just spray from one internal point fanning out across or what?
Question for Texans/Winter Texans
Native Texan here-stay out of Mexico unless you are off a cruise ship and then don't get off the beaten path. Ain't nothin in that place worth losing your life over by drug lords.
Had all balanced and installed TPMS. Cool watching psig go up as temperature increases. Started at
100 psig, cool day, 114 psig around 70 degrees.
Trailer pulled great.
I would definitely get that in writing. Not too mention the time lost while being repaired and the aggravation of the entire situation. Nothing worse than a broken new toy.
Got my TST 507 system up and running today. Easy installation. All left to do is tidy up the wires on the repeater and install a small inline toggle switch for the power to the repearter. Took the monitor inside the house and it was receiving the signal inside. Toy Hauler is next to house...
I concur with Matt. Take the Tow Max tires off ASAP. Like when you get home find some real tires to put on there. It will save you much grief possibly even on your first trip out. (Things your sales guy forgot to tell you)
These wires were on the offdoor side under the kitchen slide out..inside the frame rails. Had to remove about 6 feet of the corrugated "sign board" material from the belly pan.
Broken wire found. Appears from green corrosion this wasnt new. Most likely break was from excessive pressure on the crimp point weakening the stands of wire. Then movement and vibration took did its work.
Tested with test light and confirmed broken wire was hot wire to lights and frig...
cyclone 3800 hd 2012
No 12 volt power at the lights above the stove, frige controls inoperative but has 120v at plug in outside cabinet, and no 12 volt power at lights above the recliner/chair on off door side..this is all in the kitchen slide out...Does the 12 volt system for that slide happen...
I have a 2012 ford f350 superduty DRW. I added Firestone rear air bags to level the truck and trailer. I tow a 3012 cyclone 3800. Depending on terrain I get an average 10 mpg, sometimes more sometimes less, running at 60 mph. Handles nicely.
I priced them out thru http://www.trailertiresandwheels.com and bought one immediately as I needed a spare. They were the cheapest I found. However in the mean time Tredit the company Heartland deals with sweetened the offer to me that I couldn't pass up. You might give those guys a chance...
My new Goodyear G614's LT235/85R/16 arrived. Here they are mounted and balanced and installed. In case you are wondering about the spacing between axles 1 & 2 & 3, no problem. Yes as soon as the TPMS is delivered I believe I can stop worrying for the most part about a Tow Max tire problem...
Wonder what tires are the latest and greatest this week? I thought g614's were supposed to be the cream of the crop with michelins xps ribs falling right next to them
Taking an opportunity to tell Heartland, ExploreUsa RV in Boerne Tx (Jeff the GM and repair tech Robert D), and we can't forget Tredit Tire (Jennifer) for making the repairs to our Cyclone TH happen. It was with a bit of discontent up front due to misunderstandings however once we were all on...
Yeah finally they agreed to replace my Tow Max tires. Even trade to Goodyear Marathons. Hold the phone plz. Naw I say to the nice lady from Tredit. How about trading up to some Goodyear g614 's and me paying the difference and the tires must be fresh. So a deal was made and tires will be...
Seems they are trying now to satisfy disgruntled customers. Today I received a phone call from Tredit Tire wanting to discuss a tire trade. This is a great start however I will reserve judgement upon the final decision.
:)
I am not a tire expert but have been doing a lot of reading on tires . My first suggestion will be check the speed rating on your tires before they self destruct. Thats my two cents and will get on the back of the bus now.
Gottoys answered my question. TBC is my tire supplier for mine.
Somewhere at one of the places someone engineered these components to go together and which will wirk the best. Guess I couldnt find that engineer.
Tks gottoys..
