We will supply dinnerware (cups, plates, etc) for the potluck..also the non-alcoholic beverages...please feel free to BYOB!

We will also be hosting the Sat AM b-fast. If you haven't yet sampled Jim's waffles...here's your chance!

Ya know, that's a good question...Todd and I never discussed check-in time....I guess as long as there is no one on that site you can get in...I will drop them a line and ask...we're planning on getting there noon-ish...it's going to be about a 4-5 hour trip for us..

Jim and I are going to meet Dave and Nona around 7:30 at the Sideling Hill exit...(exit 172)...so anybody heading west we will be there at that time...it is a big rest stop so there is a lot of room for RVs...

I also wanted to mention that you should bring some dark towels with you to put up on your bedroom windows for nighttime sleeping...the fairgrounds has those bright yellow security lights and depending on what site you have you may be right under them or across from one. They do shine in your bedroom...so if you are sensitive to light at night you can put your dark towels up on your windows....someone warned me about that when we first got there....I appreciated the advice!!

Since they are so close to the timeline (central time) it doesn't really get dark there till just before 10p...us easterners will find that unusual... it makes for a nice evening of socializing as people tend to hang out at each others campers or walk through the fairgrounds and see who is sitting outside...

I am really excited about the Goshen rally this time around. When Jim and I went in 2009 we didn't know anybody except Jim B. We met Dave and Nona (Truknutt) there, and another PA couple who are no longer active members....and really, that was about it. But our first dinner sitting with 3 other couples was fun...everyone was so friendly...striking up a conversation was not difficult! This year we know so many other people....it's just going to be that much more exciting!!

For those of you who are attending your first national rally....well if you think a state rally is fun....just you wait!!!

Last summer when I went out to have the Level Up installed.

9:48pm outside Mad Anthony's, a great brew pub BTW.

Thanks Duane for the proof that it does stay light longer out there....now wouldn't that be something for you....you could arrive at camp at 10p and still be considered showing up when it's light!!!!

Hey Cheryl...how about some Shrimp and macaroni salad??

I don't think we can make Sideling Hill by 7:30...we'd have to be up at 5 am, since we're coming out of Gettysburg...

Any idea how much the tolls are using the turnpike to Portersville, and then I80 onto Goshen?
