Be sure to get the company warranty. The others are mostly useless. I know from experience. Also I have bought the GM warranty and have not used either. Both now used up due to mileage exceeding the extended warranty. Not sure I will get another factory warranty. But to each his own.
Jim, prayers for you and yours. Patience is tough at times. However, knowing your are being treated at M.D. Anderson should give you comfort in knowing you're at the best.
I have one that is aluminum. I have used it on tandum stock trailers, utility trailers and my Sundance. Works great. Stable and don't need jack and all the boards to get the necessary height. Only way to go.
Humm, when I start getting charged over $100.00 per nite I will be driving vehicle that gets 23-25 MPG. and stay in cheaper motels. Can get some very good discounts on line.
I use Stanadyne in my Dmax. Only problem have to find shop that sells it. They have also raised prices. I have used different ones over the years. Have not been able to get any of them to improve mpg to any significant amt.
IMO you will not lose anything by trashing the K&N. Most of us have . Been known for long while the Dmax does much better on the OEM. Also saves the MAF.
Yep, had that happen on a single axle trailer. About 3 seconds later the trailer slide to one side hit the edge of road bounced about twice and flipped on its side. There was damage believe me.
What? You have certainly not blown a tire on a trailer. I can tell you for sure when it happens you know it. Also can see the stuff flying around in the rear view. Of course if you are looking.
Re: A message for prospective Heartland RV owners.
Does not RIVA represent RV manufacturer's and the components. Not sure I see where they are at all the same as NTSB.
Re: A message for prospective Heartland RV owners.
Barbed? If that happened to my family and endangered my child barbed would be putting it lightly. If this had happened to a motor vehicle the NTSB and every safety group would be yelling for an investigation as well as halting sales until the...
I'm somewhat surprised to see the number of people still buying from CW . Perhaps they have a good sales staff but service is very lacking. I have had very good dealer repair at reasonable prices at Franklin's Big Country RV. if your ever near Abilene,Tx . Their business has increased due to...
I have used about ever dryer sheet they make. The mice love em. I can't stand the smell. I have had best results by using expanding foam and tape to seal as many holes as possible. I have had better luck with traps baited with peanut butter. I have had fair results with peppermint oil. They are...
As Texas Ranger told me. Better tried by 12 than carried by 6. I have not used my car or RV insurance for years but I have it if I need it. Same reason I carry.
People that try to text and try to drive at the same time. People that can't eat a meal in a restaurant without talking so loud that everyone within 20 feet can hear ever word. People on cell phones that keep talking long after their vehicle is fueled up.
Yep, my attorney has a Rolls. He hit a curb very hard and broke the back axle. He contacted Rolls and told them what happened. Their reply was you will be provided a free axle. "Rolls rear axles don't break."
Just had this discussion two days ago with son of good friend whom is a Ford diesel tech. At their dealership the first thing they do is check the computer for evidence of programmers for warranty work. The programmer can be removed but the foot print is still there. Warranty is denied.
Agree. However, because your don't hear about a unit doesn't mean its trouble free or working properly. In the last 4 years I have run into 3 Cyclone owners that have had windows installed upside down. When I inquired if they were familiar with the HL website the reply was no. The first one I...
When I got my unit 5 yrs ago there were concerns re: HL QC and lack of dealer attention to make ready. After reading threads like this and they're more than this one it does not appear to be a lot of improvement in these areas. I'm not a big brand loyal person. In the future I will certainly be...
