    2014 Cyclone 3100 AC issues

We have had to replace our Dometic AC unit two times in only 3 years of owning our camper. We run the unit according to the manufacturer guidelines and do not over work the unit. We never set the thermostat to less than 75 degrees (usually set at 77). The first unit was replaced 11 months ago...

ATF: Cyclone - Help me understand couch

It is that size because of the storage underneath. The seat itself is only comfortable if your legs are stretched out on the sofa. AT least that is the case with my 2014 3100

light fixtures over sofa and cabinets

Hi all, Thanks for the responses. We will try and unscrew one of the plastic lenses next weekend. These lights get so hot I am hoping new LED bulbs will help.

light fixtures over sofa and cabinets

My Cyclone 3100 has the round flat light fixtures over the sofa and the cabinet on the kitchen. Does Anyone know how to take the covers off to replace the bulbs? I tried to pop them off but the whole light fixture came out (seemed spring loaded?). Also, are they the same 921 bulbs? I want to...

    Battery Power

Thanks all for your input. Used a test light and finally found a loose connection so the problem is now fixed. I am still trying to locate the reset button on the buss bar. I am convinced now that they forgot to install one. Fortunately that wasn't the problem.

    Battery Power

Thanks Dan. We have looked for the reset button (looked at all pictures posted and in Guide) and we do not have a reset button like the ones shown. Any other suggestions? Is it possible they forgot to install a reset button?

    Battery Power

Looking for some help. Our battery is not supplying any power to our camper. We have tested the battery and it is good. However, we are getting nothing, no lights, landing gear...etc. On shore power everything is works fine. Has anybody else come across this? It is a 2013 Cyclone 3100

    Cover or don't cover

We have a Cyclone and it is the first camper we have ever owned. I have read different posts on covering the camper during the winter. We are in NJ so we do get some bad weather in the winter but it certainly isn't terrible. If you do suggest buying a cover, which do you think is...

    ATF: Cyclone - Hardware received

Probably a ridiculous question but....We received the metal plates that need to be mounted to the garage floor that catch the magnets on the pull down screen (missing when we took delivery). The question is they came with a strip of three silicon "bubbles". Is this required for mounting, or...

2014 Cyclone 3100 air conditioner seems to run ALL the time.

Ours also seems to run almost non-stop during the day. It does seem that at night after the sun goes down it finally will shut off for longer periods of time. This is our first RV so we were also wondering if this was the norm. It does keep the whole RV cool though which I was worried about...

    2014 Cyclone 3100 TV trouble

Thanks so much. We thought the screws might be the key. At the campgrounds that don't require a Comcast box the TV works fine. It also works great with the antenna. Unfortunately Comcast has our favorite local campground set up that you need a cable box for each TV. At least now we know how...

    2014 Cyclone 3100 TV trouble

One of the campgrounds that we camp in frequently requires a cable box. So far we have been unable to watch cable TV on the big TV in the living room. The jack for the cable box is behind this TV (which is mounted over the door) We have not been able to figure out how this TV comes off of the...

    Issue closing slide

We have a 2014 Cyclone 3100. Twice now when closing the living room (main) slide, the bottom started coming in but the top got 'stuck'. The first time it happened it all of a sudden kind of broke free and popped in catching up to the bottom. Today while I was holding the button to bring it...

Evergreen journal of more mod's in my new Savannah

Love what you did to the door. We have only had one weekend trip and I can see my dogs destroying the screens also. Was it difficult to find the material or to do the change over? I will be showing my husband this one first thing tonight....lol

    Questions after first trip

Just took our first weekend trip in our new Cyclone 3100. There was one issue that came up that I am hoping somebody has some input on. It was the heat in the bedroom. Very, very, very little heat coming out of floor vent in bedroom, however cool air was blowing out of the circular vents in...

    Secondary switch?

Thank you so much for the link. I don't see anything in the manual about a secondary switch though. I have the main switch inside the camper on the control panel where everything else is, the second one should be outside on the heater itself? I am going to have my husband check again tomorrow...

    Secondary switch?

Is there a secondary switch on the Atwood hot water heater? My husband and I just de-winterized our 2014 Cyclone and the HW heater doesn't seem to be working using shore power only propane. The unit was never turned on before it was filled so I know we did not burn out the element. Am I...

ATF: Cyclone - Pull down screen on garage

ATF: Cyclone - Pull down screen on garage

Heartland was so pleasant and helpful. They did forget to install metal plates in the floor for the magnets to catch on for the screen but they are sending them right out to me. Also had a small chip in the garage table and a replacement is coming for that also. So far, two very minor issues...
